With licenses to practice in both Texas and Oklahoma, Brent Redford is the partner in charge of audit/attest services and the firm's partner in charge of IT. He is the engagement partner on the firm’s financial statement audits and many of the compilation, review, and other agreed-upon procedures engagements, in addition to providing GAAP, financial reporting and internal control consultation services, fraud/forensic services, and litigation support. Brent has experience in many different industries, including construction, distribution, healthcare, oil & gas, not-for-profit, employee benefit plans, manufacturing, technology & communications, and others.

Brent has over 20 years of public accounting experience, since graduating from Texas Tech University in 1999 as a distinguished graduate, with a Master of Science in Accounting and a BBA in Accounting, Summa Cum Laude. After a 1999 internship, he began his career in January of 2000 with Ernst & Young (E&Y), Dallas, and he became a Certified Public Accountant later that year. While at E&Y, Brent was a member of the Technology, Communications and Entertainment practice, and he led the campus recruiting efforts at Texas Tech. Brent worked for KPMG, Austin, from 2003-2004, and he joined RBMS in November of 2004. In 2010, he became a Certified Fraud Examiner.

Brent holds memberships in or has been involved with many professional and civic organizations. He is a current member, and former board member for the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA), and a former board member of both the South Plains Chapter of TSCPA and the South Plains of America Red Cross Regional Chapter. Brent is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and he is a 2006 graduate of Leadership Lubbock. He has been involved with United Way of Lubbock, Lubbock’s Habitat for Humanity, March of Dimes and the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation.

Brent enjoys spending his spare time with his daughters, Molly and Ava, and his wife, Lindsay. He is an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the Texas Tech athletic programs, and also enjoys spending time at the lake, traveling, and doing DIY projects.
