Company Profile

Robinson Burdette Martin & Seright, L.L.P. (RBMS) is the oldest certified public accounting and consulting firm in Lubbock, Texas. This office has been involved in accounting, auditing, taxation, and consulting services from the date of its founding in 1932. We service clients in diverse and specialized industries such as financial institutions, agribusiness, education, government, health care, oil and gas, and many more. From 1979 to 1985 this office was a practicing international office of KMG Main Hurdman. From 1985 to 1994 this office was a practicing office of Coopers & Lybrand. In 1993, the office became locally and independently owned by the partners of the local Lubbock office of Coopers & Lybrand. In 2003 we became allied with BDO Seidman, L.L.P., a national professional services firm providing assurance, tax, financial advisory and consulting services to private and publicly traded businesses. We believe that the close working relationships we have developed with our clients are due in large part to our character as a local firm. However, we also recognize that today's rapidly changing marketplace often requires access to services throughout the country and world. RBMS is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants SEC and Private Company Practice Sections and, to our knowledge, is the only locally and independently owned member of both of these sections in the South Plains area.
